Chelsea 8.5” Special Dial Neptune Clock, original copper bronze case. Ship's bell strike with 8 1/2 inch excellent “special dial”, original, silvered with raised attached copper bronze numbers and copper bronze serpentine hands. Dial engraved “Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, U.S.A., Ship’s Bell. Hinged bezel. Overall dimensions approximately 13” tall, 13” wide, and 5.5” deep. Movement serial number 166546, wooden sub-base stamped 166549, the last number in the wooden sub-base being an inversion stamping error by the workman.
