Roth Bros. New York Desk or Mantle Chronometer with Astro Regulator Dial. The 7" dial is very finely engraved "Roth Brothers, Chronometer Manufacturers, New York". The heavy brass case is 8 3/4" in diameter and 11" tall. The removable front bezel has beveled glass. The back of the case is glass showing the fine quality chain fusee movement with detent chronometer escapement. A very fine and unique timepiece. The Chronometer is in fine condition in every way, runs well and keeps good time.
