An uncommon Chelsea Pilot House clock. This clock was completely restored by Chelsea Clock Co. The movement was overhauled. The dial was resilvered. The numerals were refinished. The case was plated in Hamilton Gold. The clock is as close to perfect as possible. Serial number 159741 on the movement and case dates the clock to 1924.

Chelsea 6" Special Copper Bronze Dial Base & Ball Feet Clock. Ships Bell. The original copper bronze dial and reflector ring with gold applied numerals and gold pierced serpentine hands is in absolutely pristine condition. The dial is marked J. R. Reed & Co., Pittsburgh. The case has been polished and lacquered. The movement has been serviced. Matching serial number 86414 dates the clock to 1912. The clock keeps excellent time and strikes ships bells with fine Chelsea tone.

Item ID: 2218 - Chelsea 10" Marine Clock for Providence Engineering Works. Serial number 92611 dates the clock to 1913. The case has the original nickel plating that is in very fine condition. The dial is beautifully engraved Providence Engineering Wks., Providence, R. I. and outlined with a banner and scrollwork. Below it is also engraved Star Brass Mfg. Co., Boston, Mass. The dial has been resilvered. The movement has been serviced and keeps excellent time.

Chelsea Clock Co. 8 1/2" Carved Base #1. This superbly detailed design was only offered in the 1911 catalog. The carving of the ebonised mahogany base is absolutely gorgeous. The. case has been polished and lacquered. The engraved and silvered dial and pierced serpentine hands have their original finishes. Serial Number 141392 on the movement and case dates the clock to 1920. A very fine example of an exceedingly rare Chelsea shelf clock.

Chelsea 6 1/2" Special Dial Bronze Pedestal Clock - Ships Bell. Serial number 96945 on the movement and the wood base insert dates the clock to 1913. The dial is marked Spaulding & Co. The case is 13 3/4" tall, 13 3/4" wide and 5 5/8" deep. The Chelsea mahogany pedestal clock is only shown in the Chelsea 1911 catalog but several bronze cased examples have been seen. These bronze examples were evidently made on special order. An exceedingly rare clock in beautifully restored condition.
Chelsea 12" Marine Clock - Fore River Shipbuilding

Chelsea Clock Co. 12" Marine Clock for Fore River Shipbuilding, Quincy, Mass. This clock is very unusual in many ways. First, the dial is artfully engraved "Fore River Shipbuilding, Quincy, Mass". Second, the case is polished aluminum. This is the only 12" Chelsea known with an aluminum case. Third, the back of the case is embossed with the logo of "Bethlehem Shipbuilding Corporation, Ltd., Fore River Plant, EA 430". It is exceedlingly rare to find a marine clock that is so clearly marked on both the case and the dial. The clock is mounted on a custom made mahogany wall mounting ring. The movement and case are stamped with serial number 153529 dating the clock to March 1923. The movement has been serviced and the clock keeps excellent time.
