Chelsea 8 1/2" Wardroom Clock - Ships Bell. Very fine Statuary Bronze finish. Serial number 107084 on the movement and the back of the case dates the clock to 1917. Chelsea Wardroom clocks with ships bell movements were a special order and are exceedingly rare. I have not seen another 8 1/2" Wardroom clock with a ships bell movement. The clock strikes with mellow and resonant tone. Superb in every way.
