Item ID: 2383 - Vermont Clock Co. 4 1/4" Yacht Clock for Negus, New York in a spun brass case. Fine French type sash and bezel with beveled glass. The bezel hinges at 12. The highly decorative dial is aluminum. The nickel plated damascened movement is signed Fairhaven Mfg. Co., Fairhaven VT, USA.

Item ID: 2453 - Vermont Clock Co., Fairhaven, VT 10 1/4" Marine Clock. Vermont Clock Co. was only in business from 1898 to 1902. Vermont marine clocks of any size are extremely rare. Large dial examples like this clock are almost never seen. This example has a very heavy brass case with pushbutton latch. The dial has been restored. The counterbalanced hands have the original bluing. The nickeled and damascened movement is signed and numbered 1223. The clock has been completely restored and is in fine condition.

Item ID: 2379 - Vermont Clock Co., Fairhaven, VT 10 ½” Marine Clock. The polished and lacquered case is 13 1/8” across the bezel. The dial has been resilvered and the numerals repainted in the proper style. The hands with decorative counter weights have the original bluing. The movement is stamped #1319 on the front and back plates. Vermont Clock Co. was only in business from 1898 to 1902. Vermont marine clocks of any size are extremely rare. Large dial examples like this clock are almost never seen. A beautifully restored example.

Vermont Clock Co., Fairhaven, VT 8 1/8" Marine Gallery Clock with patinated spun brass outer case. Vermont Clock Co. marine clocks of any size or type are exceedingly rare. This example is a unique design with inner bronze case covered by a decorative spun brass and patinated outer case with fine beading surrounding bezel. The dial and case finishes are original and in fine condition. The bezel is 9" in diameter and the back of the case is 11 3/4". The movement is signed Vermont Clock Co.

Vermont Clock Co. 8 1/2" Tandem Wind Ships Bell Clock with external bell. All of the known Vermont tandem wind ships bell striking clocks have movements by Boston Clock Co. This clock has the Boston Clock Co. movement with the McMillen's 1901 Patent updated single hammer strike design. An exceedingly rare ships bell striking tandem-wind clock especially in this large size. The clock is mounted on a custom mahogany display stand.

Fairhaven Manufacturing Co. 10" Marine Clock. The case has the original nickel finish in fine condition. The dial has been resilvered. The Fairhaven Mfg. Co., Fairhaven, VT was only in business for 2 years from 1896 to 1898. Their clocks are exceedingly rare, especially the large dial clocks like this example. Fairhaven Mfg. Company was one of the series of Joseph Eastman companies that made very fine quality marine, carriage, shelf and wall clocks. Starting with the Harvard Clock Company in 1880, followed by Boston Clock Company and then the Eastman Clock Company, Joseph Eastman started the Fairhaven Mfg. Company in Fairhaven, Vermont in 1896. After only 2 years the name was changed to Vermont Clock Company. Joseph Eastman was well known for producing marine clocks of uncompromising quality.
