Item ID: 2335 - Chelsea Clock Co. 10" Ships Bell Chain Clock for Tiffany & Co. Serial number 172729 on the movement and the case dates the clock to 1926. Spectacular original finish on case, dial and chains. Chelsea chain clocks are exceedingly rare. They were shown in the Chelsea 1911 and 1917 catalogs with 12" dials. Other sizes were special order. Examples with original chains are even more difficult to find. This is the only known example with the original chains with their original finish matching the clock case. Unique and very desireable.
