Item ID: 2572 - Eastman Clock Co. 12" Marine Clock for Ashcroft Mfg. Co., New York & Bridgeport. An exceedingly rare large dial marine clock by the renowned Joseph Eastman. Only two other 12" dial Eastman clock are known to exist. The movement front plate is stamped with serial number 349. The case has been polished and lacquered. The dial and hands have their original surfaces and are in very fine condition. The movement has been overhauled. Eastman Clock Co. was only in business from 1894 to 1896. The clock is listed in the Chelsea Clock Museum Eastman Register of surviving Eastman clocks and movements.
