Chelsea 6 1/2” Special Dial Mahogany Pedestal Clock for Bigelow Kennard & Co., Boston. House strike. Serial number 34955 dates the lock to 1908. 14 3/4” tall, 15” wide and 10 1/2” deep. A rare clock that only appeared in the 1911 Chelsea catalog. The case has the original finish. The dial has been restored. The movement has been serviced. There is a slight crack in the veneer on the top of the case as shown in the photos. A very nice example.
