Chelsea 10" Special Copper Dial Mahogany & Metal aka Commander. The copper finished dial with gold applied numerals and gold pierced serpentine hands is in absolutely superb original condition. Serial number 23767 on the movement and the case dates the clock to 1907. The case has been polished and lacquered. The wood back and base have been cleaned and waxed. The movement has been completely overhauled. The clock keeps excellent time and strikes ships bells with fine tone. The clock is 16 3/4" tall, 18 1/2" wide and 7 1/2" deep.
