Boston Clock Co. 8 1/2" Marine Clock for Bastien Mfg. Co., Milwaukee, Wis.. The dial is also engraved Star Brass Mfg. Co., Boston, Mass. on a decorative banner and below the winding arbor is engraved Boston G. Boston G indicating that the movement is by Boston Clock Co. and is gold finished. The clock was restored many years ago and has developed a fine aged patina. The clock is in good running order.

Item ID: 2448 - Early Waltham 8 1/2" Marine Clock for Star Brass Mfg. Co. and The Wm. Cramp & Sons Ship & Engine Bldg. Co., Philadelphia, PA. Beautifully engraved Roman numeral dial with 555 below 6 and Star Brass Mfg. Co., Boston, Mass above 6. A lock hasp was added at about 7 on the outside of the deep case. The nickeled and damascened movement is stamped with serial number 315 and below it 1063. Waltham used this early movement only from about 1896 to 1900. The clock is in fine restored condition and mounted on a mahogany display stand.

Item ID: 2449 - Early Waltham 8 1/2" Marine Clock for Barr & Creelman, Rochester, NY. The Arabic numeral dial is engraved Barr & Creelman, Rochester, N.Y. and Star Brass Mfg. Co., Boston, Mass. The dial is also numbered 822 below 6. The early style, fine quality, nickeled and damascened Waltham movement is signed and stamped with serial number 281. Waltham used this movement only from about 1896 to 1900. The hands are later Chelsea style moon design. The clock has been completely restored. A very rare early Waltham marine clock.

Nickel plated case. Silvered dial. Fine quality 11 jewel ships bell striking movement. Maisie was the first of the ca. 1916 Herreshoff NY 40 sailing yachts - #773. On the bezel above 12 is a medallion that reads: Larchmont Yacht Club, Organized 1880, Incorporated 1882. Below 6 the bezel is engraved: Larchmont Yacht Club, Season 1922, Race Week Series Tie 1St, LYC 39Ft Class, Won By MAISIE. The clock has original surfaces on the dial, hands and nickel plated case. The movement has been serviced and is in fine condition striking ships bells with fine tone.
