Chelsea 10" Special Grand Dial Mahogany Empire Clock. House Strike. An exceedingly rare large dial Chelsea clock that only appeared in the Chelsea Clock Co. 1911 catalog. It was made with 4 1/2", 5 1/2”, 6 1/2”, 8” and 10” dial sizes. This clock is the largest size and has the desirable special grand dial with raised numerals and serpentine hands. Serial number 35022 dates the clock to 1909. The clock is completely original in every detail.
